The major part of my work makes use of the concepts developed within the theory of Cognitive Grammar (Langacker 1987, 1991). My earlier work was concerned with French sentential complements. I am currently involved in two major projects still devoted to French syntax.

The first one involves the thorough investigation of the different classes of intransitive predicates. The second one concerns the analysis of various types of impersonal constructions.

I also have an interest in Second Language Acquisition and Language Pedagogy, particularly in the teaching of grammar in communicative methods.
